Grief is rarely a linear journey through neat stages. It can feel like a chaotic tidal wave one day, and a quiet, heavy fog the next. Grief also isn’t limited to the loss of a loved one. There are 4 major types of grief:
Bereavement: The loss of a partner, family member, friend, or mentor.
Ambiguous Loss & Life Transitions: Divorce, the end of a relationship, career changes, or relocating.
Perinatal & Pregnancy Loss: Navigating the unique, deeply personal heartbreak of miscarriage, stillbirth, or infertility challenges.
Pet Loss: Honoring the profound bond and intense grief that comes with losing a companion animal.
