Hi, I’m Shrav!

I experience therapy as cartography: the act of mapping our beings’ unexplored terrain; some parts relatively new and others much older, perhaps out of reach. By helping you familiarize yourself with your own inner landscape, you can begin to better navigate your thoughts and feelings. Having been on both sides of the therapy room, I know the importance of being guided by your process and pace, in order to work together to achieve the changes that best benefit your wellbeing.

Guided by my background in psychology, neuroscience and counselling, as well as my training in the person-centred and psychodynamic approaches, I understand that psychological wellbeing can be impacted by how we present to the world, our environment, our histories, our cultures and our relationships. I believe that these connections are deeply relational at their core, and so, addressing them in therapy requires a trusting, grounded connection in order to be effective.

I have worked closely with relationship difficulties, identity-related concerns, childhood / intergenerational trauma, neurodiversity and chronic health conditions. Often, experiencing these difficulties can leave you feeling overwhelmed, alone, stuck or lost. Having been in those depths myself, it’s important for me to offer you a warm, grounded, confidential and supportive space. One where you can bring in anything you’d like to, so that we can figure it out together.
